About this product
A vintage set from the 1930s: MacGregor Master 30 Brassie Wood and Spoon Wood. Two right-handed clubs with steel shafts, regular flex. Features like back weights, decorative inserts, and a fancy face, made from persimmon wood. Pre-WWII collectibles. Ideal for display or occasional vintage play.
Our take
These 1930s MacGregor Master 30 woods are gorgeous. The persimmon heads, brassie and spoon shapes, and intricate face inserts are art. I got them for display, and they're a hit. The steel shafts are period-correct. But if you want to actually play, these are fragile and not forgiving at all. The price reflects their rarity, not performance. For a collector's wall, they're superb; for the course, look elsewhere.
